BINDING PROCEDURES

You may bind coverage for an account for which you have received a Premium Indication from Ringwalt & Liesche, provided there are no additions, alterations or omissions to any of the terms of the coverage requested, by following the instructions included below. Our premium indications are valid for 30 days.


NEW DIRECT BILL OPTION
Scheduled Auto Only

Our Direct Bill plan has changed. This option is ONLY available for Annual, Scheduled Auto Policies at this time (accounts between $750- $30,000 in premium).

NOTE: Direct Bill is NOT an option for Cargo Only, Garage, and General Liability policies at this time. Direct Bill is NOT an option on double brokered policies. We are unable to offer reinstatement with a lapse in coverage on direct billed policies.

To bind coverage:
Down payment must be made by the retail agent. Please gather payment information (checking account #, savings account #, or debit/credit card #, expiration date & security code) from the insured. The payment is then made online through the link emailed to you or through our website, www.ringwalt.com, by clicking on the Policy Services button.

Please forward a signed company application or renewal application at the time of binding.

Premium Financed Policies

This option is available for all policies.

Fax to our office the following:

  1. A copy of your agency check made payable to Ringwalt & Liesche Co. in the amount of the down payment required by their Premium Finance Company (net your full commission) along with a signed copy of the premium finance agreement.
  2. A signed company application or renewal application when applicable.
  3. Copy of premium indication.

Accounts Paid in Full

We will accept an agency check for payment in full.

Fax to our office the following:

  1. A copy of the agency check made payable to Ringwalt & Liesche Co. for the total (net your full commission) premium.
  2. A signed company application or renewal application when applicable.
  3. Copy of premium indication.

For Our Account Current Agents Only

Fax to our office the following:

  1. A written request to bind coverage.
  2. A signed company application or renewal application when applicable.
  3. Copy of premium indication.

Binding Coverage

Direct Bill accounts will be bound effective the time and date payment is accepted online. For other bound accounts, coverage will be bound based on the Time and Date of your fax provided the envelope containing payment is postmarked no later than the following business day. Please indicate the date and time you wish to bind coverage.
